Erin has a new-found passion for directing. She recently studied social realism in which she created her own short film which she loved directing and being able to have her own stamp on a short film - which focused on a young families struggle with the death of their disabled son - focusing on the struggles families in such situations go through whilst support from the government. Erin also has a passion for writing - she recently wrote and directed a theatre piece 'The Average Quiz' which was a powerful piece about societies expectations of women. Erin uses her skills to explore social issues that aren't addressed a lot on screen and stage, such as social issues, inequality, lack of support for families, funding issues, feminism and more. She hopes to be able to create and direct more in the future.
